On creativity

I believe creativity is a powerful aspect of our life force. She gives access to feeling caverns, sensual and primordial. Learning to nurture, trust and work with her through various mediums offers something sacred and profoundly humbling to our beingness. She allows aliveness, connection, curiosity, play and presence to exist and meet pain, fear and humanity with beauty and compassion.

Ceramics

All my ceramic pieces are hand built with coiling, pinching and slab techniques, a slow mindful process that invites deep listening and awareness between myself and the clay. Some adorned with the strokes of my drawings and colour and others left raw and exposed. These subtle energetics can be experienced in each piece, making them one of a kind.

The Noũs

The eye found in many of my illustrations, the noũs is known as the eye of the soul, the purest part of the soul, the highest attention. With so many distraction calling for our attention, my hope is that the noũs serves as a mark to orient ourselves towards the sacred, the real, the Truth.
