THE POMEGRANATE SERIES
The Pomegranate Series is a confluence of The Eternal and raw humanness experienced in the infinite number of moments in the cycles of death and rebirth. It is an invitation into the depths of the destruction, transformation, resurrection and revelation.
Billy Rose uses clay, illustration and poetic film as means to unveil what’s from within as she allows herself to be reshaped over and over again. Textures, colour, edges, truths, sensations. Using slow, mindful hand building techniques, meditation, intuition and prayer, each piece reflects attunement to unique subtle emotions, essences and energetics she experiences beneath the surface of life’s transitions.
When the feeling waters of disconnection, trauma, pain, grief and destiny flood her heart and her home in waves; surrendering, fully feeling, moment by moment, Billy Rose, draws upon her devotion to a spiritual and embodied life. The pomegranate becomes the symbolic substance of sustenance to The Eternal that lives within the liminal spaces of our hearts.
Love, Beauty, Connection and Compassion. She invites us to meet daily moments of loneliness, fear, uncertainty and suffering with an intentional slowing down and feeling within the embrace of Loving Consciousness. The rage of Eris and the love of Aphrodite, the seen and unseen, masculine and feminine, seed to flower. Intuition and righteousness. In this, Revelations, Transformation and Resurrection occur. A inner state of abundance becomes available;
Silence. Witnessing. Listening. Attention. Presence.
The Pomegranate Series offers a salve to the current superficial, lonely, numbing and fast bypassing of the inevitable suffering that occurs in the infinite moments of the cycles of death and rebirth. A widening and depth of acceptance and intimacy with what is, moment by moment with ourselves and each other. For that is a life fully felt and most alive.
